It amazes me that as children one of the first words we learn to say is "no",
As adults one of the hardest words to say is "no".
I'm searching for a life of peace and less commitments which sometimes is going to require me to say "no".
It's a lesson I'm in the beginning stages of learning.
My first steps on this journey were to delete my myspace and facebook.
I'm on a mission to cut out any unnecessary commitments.
Blogging is necessary.
You women encourage me beyond belief.
Your friendship inspires.
Thank you!
Blessings,
Nora
That is so true! If I can say it so easily to my kids, how come it's so hard for me to say to myself! I've gotten better saying it to others. :)
ReplyDeletewhoa. THAT is commitment! I so know what you mean, about learning to say no. I've only just learned that - and learned to not have guilt when I do say no! Good for you, Nora - learn it now and stick to it!

ReplyDeleteOh Nora, I am so there....so there! I was just thinking the other day I am tooo connected to my computer..I need to disconnect for a while and breath. I posted a re-post on my blog today just to remind me of some things and to take a break! Sometimes we just need some space to take in all the beauty...and to get things done! Good for you! and yes, blogging is a must!
